Job Description

PlanetBio is seeking a Content Manager Intern to drive and manage our online presence across all social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and our website. This is a unique opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in digital marketing and communications within the biotech industry.

As the Content Manager Intern, you will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media accounts, growing our online follower base, and aligning our communications with the company's mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute content strategies for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok) and the company website.
  • Create engaging, high-quality content that resonates with our target audience, including written posts, graphics, videos, and infographics.
  • Manage and grow PlanetBio’s social media presence, focusing on increasing follower engagement and interaction.
  • Ensure that all content aligns with PlanetBio’s brand voice, values, and messaging, as well as our mission to connect innovators, researchers, and investors.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance to track growth, engagement, and trends. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content is relevant and aligned with ongoing campaigns and events.
  • Manage content calendars to ensure consistent and timely posting across all platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a content creator or social media manager (experience as an intern or volunteer is acceptable).
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok), content creation tools, and analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and community engagement.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of biotech or startup ecosystems is a plus but not required.
